Global Fishing Watch

"Global Fishing Watch," a public toll developed by Skytruth, Oceana and Google is utilizing SpaceQuest AIS data and algorithms developed by Analyze Corp, to identify and display fishing activity world wide. Check out the video below.

Global AIS Data: Texas 4 Presentation Video

The video shows an in-context view of AIS data collected from the AprizeSat-3 microsatellite owned and operated by SpaceQuest, Ltd. The data was collected on 11 September 2010. The video covers several segments in a 12-hour period between midnight and noon, GMT. Playback is set at about 48 times faster than realtime.
