AMSAT ECHO (AO-51)
Mission: AO-51 (AMSAT-OSCAR 51) is an Amateur Radio operated satellite built by AMSAT - the Amateur Satellite Organization. HAM radio operators can use AO-51 to communicate with one another across the Earth, participate in "Experiment Days", help educate students about space and fulsill their own curiousity as well. Status: AO-51 launched on-time, aboard a Russian Dnepr rocket, 29 June 2004 at 0630 UTC. AO-51 was manifested as a secondary payload.
